Obtained only from Sangiovese grapes, vinified in steel and aged for 10 months in small used oak barrels; elevation in concrete for further 5 months.The Chianti Classico Riserva has an intense ruby red colour with violet reflections. The nose has notes of blackberry, blueberry, violet, nuances of liquorice and Mediterranean herbs.
It should be served at a temperature of 18° C.
Best maturity for drinking: up to 4-6 years after release.
